We don't need more men we need more women

Do you know what is the ratio of men to women in India. They are about 930s to 1000 men. It is a number that raises certain questions. The first question is why are women less and the second question is where do the other men go even after there is polygamy that is prevalent in India. Do all of us marry? Are there 2 marriages? Do men die early before woman? Only if all these things were possible then the ratio makes sense. Some how things get rearranged and we meet the 1000 men mark.

Marriage is a very formal and an acceptable thing everywhere. But polygamy is not. There is just one state where women are more than men. Kerala. I don't know what happens to the other women. They lead a lonely life. What other reasons could there be. It also has a place where there is polyandry being practiced. That is not so good to hear for a country man. It somehow doesn't gels with one person's thought. How would it look? I don't like it. Any way, the question is how can we raise the percentage of woman in the country. The implementation still remains a mystery.
